EST-Floattech opens new Nordic office in Oslo, Norway

Next step in serving the Norwegian market which is leading the energy revolution in the maritime industry. The Oslo office will be a full branch of EST-Floattech BV, a Netherlands based company and one of the market leaders in advanced Lithium NMC storage systems.

EST-Floattech, one of the world’s leading suppliers of low weight and compact energy storage systems for the maritime market announces that per April 1, 2017, it will open the doors of its new branch EST-Floattech Nordic AS. EST-Floattech AS headed by Trond Skaufel, will be located in the Oslo area and will have its office in the brand new and state of the art Pon Power AS facilities in Skedsmokorset in between the city of Oslo and Oslo airport.

Trond started his maritime career in the navy and had senior executive positions for the last 30 years. In his prior role, as Managing Director of Pon Power Scandinavia AS (the Scandinavian Caterpillar dealer), Trond experienced an increased awareness and importance of sustainable power solutions. Since Norway is clearly leading the energy revolution in the maritime market, EST is delighted that Trond with all his experience will strengthen the EST-Floattech team and will head the Norwegian office as Managing Director EST-Floattech Norway.
